Experienced Finish Carpenter
Smith Bros., a finish carpentry, millwork, and general contracting company in Westlake Village, is looking for a detailed finish carpenters who are results oriented and focused on quality work. The finish carpenter is responsible installing windows, doors, mouldings, and specialized carpentry tasks. This candidate would have at least 2-5 years of FINISH CARPENTRY experience working on his/her own and on a team. Smith Bros finish carpentry has various jobs around the LA/Ventura County areas. Our focus is high end finish carpentry, custom Windows/Door installations, and custom cabinetry. We have a reputation for excellent quality and service for clients and builders.
Requirements:
• Excellent problem-solving and math skills
• Ability to interpret and follow procedures for a particular job
• Demonstrate interest in improving skills to optimize performance on a team
• Capable of reading and interpreting blue prints
• Have own vehicle, current driver’s license, and some tools
• Ability to install windows, doors, and/or trim with precision and high quality standards
• Good interpersonal skills to be able to work with team members and client effectively
• Conscientious worker to ensure job is done at the best of his/her ability in given time goals
• Accurate time keeping
